Urchin is the total package! Adorable, loving, and just the right mix of playful and snuggly.
In the play yard, his personality really shines. He's silly, bouncy, and loves to zoom around, but not for too long because he'll come right back to you for pets and cuddles before heading off for another round of fun. Equal parts playful pup and affectionate sidekick.
He's also a well-mannered gentleman! Urchin listens nicely, already knows "sit," and has a sweet, easygoing nature that makes him a joy to spend time with. This happy boy seems to housebroken as keeps a clean kennel and takes care of his business outside like a pro. With other dogs in play group, he has been playfully social.
Urchin does have a little quirk that makes him extra special. He's suspected to have an old, healed fracture in his back leg that healed slightly out of alignment. Because of this, he walks with a mild limp, but it doesn't seem to slow him down or stop him from enjoying life. A vet concluded that it is considered "mechanical," meaning it's due to the way the bone healed, not because he's in pain. As he gets older, he may be more prone to arthritis in that leg, so his future family should keep an eye out for any signs of discomfort and be prepared to support him if needed. With a little awareness and routine vet care, he'll continue to thrive. And since he's such a sweetheart, we think he deserves that second chance!
