Meet Rafferty, our handsome guy with the warm golden eyes and adorable face wrinkles. Rafferty is a personable pup who is a great mix of playful, smart and affectionate. He would love to pal around together.
Rafferty has a playful, adventurous spirit and he will help you get your steps in. Whether he's tossing around a toy for himself in the yard or exploring on a hike, he does so with an eager charm. On leash he loves to follow his nose, and he can be strong when he wants to follow a tempting scent. He loves rolling and flopping around with a ball or favorite toy and can self-entertain if needed. When he first gets outside Rafferty can get bursts of energy, but then he tends to settle down pretty nicely.
Rafferty is also a big softie. Once he's had a chance to burn off some energy, he loves to take breaks and snuggle up. As a car passenger, we recommend a seatbelt for him because he wants to get close and might rest his head on your shoulder.
Rafferty also has some smarts! He already knows sit and paw, and seems like he could be housebroken as he consistently keeps his kennel clean. With other dogs in play group, he has been playful and social.
