Laszlo would likely enjoy an active home to match his playful spirit. He is known for his passion for toys, and he can entertain himself for long periods with some good rope toys, stuffies, and balls. This beefy bro was a bit shy and unsure when he first came to the kennel, but he's really opened up to show his true happy self.
On a recent sleepover, Laszlo showed that he can also be quite affectionate and more laid-back than he comes across at the kennel. After about an hour of exploring the house, he settled in, relaxed on the couch, watching TV, playing, napping, and playing with some toys. He loves to snuggle! He seems like he simply enjoys having human company and was content to entertain himself or sleep while his person was working at home.
Laszlo is also smart, motivated, and a quick learner. He cheerfully shows off that he knows sit, down, and paw. He appears housebroken (no accidents in two days as a house guest), was respectful of the household and did not chew things he shouldn't, and he settled down in a crate after a little while. He seems like a dog that will really thrive with the routine and consistency of a home (as opposed to kennel life.) When he gets excited, he can sometimes get jumpy, but with more time to decompress away from the kennel, we think he has the potential to remember to settle more and more.
