Meet Galahad, a gallant goofball with a bright head on his shoulders. He is a delightful mix of smarts and silliness he would make a great buddy for someone fun-loving with a sense of humor.
To quote a volunteer who has spent time with Galahad, "he makes me smile each time I take him out." Galahad loves to play and while he enjoys having a friend to be part of the fun, he also can self-entertain with toys. If you are ready for adventure, he is eager to hit the trails for a long walk or hike. He can get a little rowdy and exuberant when he is excited, but he is attentive and responsive to guidance and seems like he'll really shine with consistency in a home. He has also been playful with other dogs, showing a softer/gentler style when he has been in play group.
Speaking of which - someone has already taught him a few things! He knows sit, paw, down and speak (and sometimes tries to cycle through all of them in his excitement.) He also seems housebroken as he consistently does his business outside. He's eager to please and quick to pick up on new things.
Galahad also loves to snuggle as much as he likes to play. He'll flop right across your lap for pets (somes multi-tasking while also playing with a toy), or flip over for belly rubs. He's engaging and affectionate and a pretty charming doofus of a goober.
