Our Cookie is a real treat! At first, Cookie can be a bit unsure of new things, but she handles it all with quiet bravery. Once she feels safe, her true personality quickly starts to blossom and it's absolutely adorable to watch.
Once she warms up (which doesn't take long!), Cookie turns into a total lovebug. She'll happily climb right into your lap, flop over for belly rubs, and soak up all the affection you have to give. She's that perfect mix of playful and snuggly - equally happy chasing toys in the yard or curling up close for cuddles. She's also a total fetch fan and loves bopping around with a friend and toys. With other dogs in play group, she has been playful with a gentler style.
On a recent outing, she curled up for the car ride so quietly you'd forget she was even there, then woke up at the park with sleepy eyes, ready for adventure. For a pup who's just around a year old, everything feels like a "first". Her first bridge, her first creek, her first big explorations-and Cookie soaks it all in with a wagging tail and happy curiosity. She greets every person, dog, stick, rock, and leaf like it's the best thing she's ever seen.
At around 1 year old and 40 pounds, Cookie is a wonderful, medium-sized companion with a gentle, easygoing nature. She's a youngster and can be wiggly and bouncy when excited, but she has some basics down too. She seems like she could be housebroken, listens well, knows how to sit, and takes treats nicely. She has all the makings of an amazing family dog-sweet, affectionate, fun, and full of potential.
