Introducing Bryndle!

Bio:
- 4 years old- Spayed female
- Great Dane Mix: ½ Dane, ½ Lab-Coonhound (very lab-like in nature)
- Brindle coat
- Located in St Paul, MN

Basic Info:
- Does well on leashed walks with a flat collar and treats when encountering other dogs.
- Limited free roam, foster mom confines her to a specific bedroom when left alone
- Mostly ignores the cat in the foster home, but doesn't like it if they get close to high value items.
- She is quite sensitive and does not respond to stern/loud discipline tactics. Gentle and positive reinforcement is much more her style
- Thrives on routine!

Likes:
- LOVES walks- and will go for daily walks with foster mom at least 3 miles per day! If you need a walking/exercise partner, this is your gal!
- Loves people!
- Very playful. She loves treats and toys

Dislikes:
- While not a dislike, strangers can make her anxious. Slow and proper introductions are a must
- She will resource guard her food, so she should be fed separately from other dogs during mealtimes
- If toys are left out, she should be monitored while playing with them to avoid any scuffles over toys (she is not always the best toy sharer), though this behavior has improved immensely while in foster care

Medical Notes: NA, she is very healthy!

Hard Requirements For Forever Home:
- If there are kids in the home, we ask they be at least 8 years of age or older and dog savvy. This is to ensure she is given the appropriate personal space when eating and playing. She's very sensitive about her feet and tail.
- As she is sensitive in nature and loud/stern voices worry her, she is looking for an overall calm and quiet forever home that will really allow her to feel safe/comfortable
- She is eager to please! Consistent positive reinforcement training methods are a must for her forever home
- Would prefer to be an only dog but could get along with a more submissive male.
- A physical fence due to her squirrel hunting adventures.
