Dune is waiting for someone willing to give him a little time-and a whole lot of love.

Shelter life can be overwhelming for this sweet boy. Dune is shy and easily startled, but underneath that uncertainty is a gentle dog who is looking for a fresh start with a family he can learn to trust.

Dune walks nicely on a leash and is a sweet boy who simply needs time to settle in, adjust to his new surroundings, and discover that he is safe. He will need a patient family willing to help him build his confidence at his own pace and show him that the world can be a wonderful place.

For the person willing to give Dune that time, the reward could be something very special-a loyal companion who knows that you were the one who gave him the chance to become the dog he was meant to be.

Dune doesn't need someone to rush him. He just needs someone willing to believe in him.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.

We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We'll see you soon at either location!
