George is a sweet, well-mannered guy who is ready to meet his new best friend! He's house-trained and knows his basic commands, including sit, down, and stay.
George absolutely loves being petted and soaking up affection. He's also great when meeting new people and is friendly with other dogs. ?? A meet-and-greet is recommended to make sure everyone is a perfect match.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
