Ellis is the kind of dog who believes there is no such thing as too much love. This incredibly affectionate boy would happily spend his day curled up in your lap, soaking up every bit of attention and affection you have to give.
He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a little patience and kindness, you'll discover a loyal companion with a heart of gold. Ellis may pull a bit on the walk to the play yard, but once he gets there, he's all about staying close to his person for pets, cuddles, and quality time.
He was wonderful for brushing and seemed to enjoy every minute of being pampered. Sweet, gentle, and eager to love, Ellis isn't looking for anything fancy-just a family to call his own and someone to remind him every day that he's safe and loved.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
