Nakoma is a sweet girl who loves being around her people and soaking up all the pets and attention she can get. She is both house-trained and crate-trained, making her an easy addition to the right home.
She enjoys going for walks and is working hard on her leash manners. Nakoma does best with older children and adults and would love a family that enjoys spending time together. She gets along with other dogs, though a meet and greet is always recommended to ensure a good match.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
