SCOUT IS WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO CHOOSE HER.
Some dogs seem to come into this world with an endless supply of love, energy, and excitement-and Scout is one of those dogs. She is a loyal, happy girl who is simply waiting for someone to see what a wonderful companion she can be.
Scout LOVES to be on the go. Hiking? Absolutely. Long walks? Yes, please! Going for a run? That's her favorite! ??????? She would love nothing more than to have a person who will make her part of their adventures and then come home and enjoy life together.
Scout is great with adults and does well with both big and small dogs. She has even done well at doggy daycare. She can be a little too enthusiastic when meeting another dog-her greetings can be rambunctious-but once that initial excitement wears off, she generally settles down and does well.
Behind all that energy is a really great dog who deserves a chance.
Shelter life can't give Scout everything she needs. She needs someone who will see her enthusiasm not as a flaw, but as a reminder that she has so much life left to live. Someone who will take her places, keep her active, laugh at her silly moments, and love the loyal heart underneath all that excitement.
Maybe that someone is you.
A meet and greet is recommended with resident dogs.
Please don't let Scout spend another day waiting for the person who will finally say, "You're coming home with me."
