This little guy has a smile that's impossible to resist! A-Train Jacob gets excited when he sees people-especially if you've got a tasty treat-but he settles down quickly into a sweet, easygoing companion.
One thing he's made perfectly clear? He's not a fan of this Texas heat! You'll often find him doing the cutest little sploot on the ground to cool off. Give him some air conditioning and a comfy couch, though, and he'll happily embrace his true calling as your favorite indoor couch potato.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
