Leon is the total package!
He's housetrained, crate trained, and has had zero accidents in his previous home. Leon is calm and easygoing indoors, happiest lounging on a carpet or rug and enjoying a good nap. He previously had his own room but is perfectly comfortable staying in a crate when needed.
Leon already knows several commands in Spanish, including "go outside," "ready to eat?", "want to go for a walk?", and "sit." He walks nicely on leash with only a slight pull at times and is incredibly easy to get in and out of the car.
His favorite thing in the world? Water! Leon absolutely loves to swim and would be thrilled to join a family that enjoys lakes, pools, or any chance to splash around.
Calm, well-mannered, smart, and water-loving - Leon is ready to make a lucky family very happy.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
