Luke is a playful, happy dog who loves spending time chasing toys. When he's in a play yard with Padme they will play a game of tag and transform into acrobats as they leap and hop over each other. If the doggy pool is available, you'll find them splashing around. On his own Luke can be independent and will often spend his time exploring a yard alone. Luke and Padme entered the shelter together. During their time in our care, they have been co-housed in a kennel together. Because of their close relationship and the clear welfare benefits they experience by being together, we believe they would thrive most in an adoptive home as a pair.
To support the best outcome for both dogs, they are included in our Best Friends Adoption Special. An adopter may choose to adopt either dog at the standard adoption fee/special, and the second "best friend" may be added with the adoption fee waived.
This special is intended to encourage keeping this pair together when possible.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals at any time during open hours.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
