Quinn may not be the guy who runs up to every new person-but give him a little time, and you'll discover what a sweet and playful boy he really is! Once Quinn knows you, he becomes highly affectionate and loves spending time with his people.
Because Quinn takes a little while to warm up, his ideal home is a calm, low-traffic environment with patient people who will let him settle in and build trust at his own pace. He doesn't need to be the social butterfly of the neighborhood-he just needs someone willing to give him the time to show you his true personality.
Quinn has also met a few other dogs here at the shelter and seems like he may enjoy having a canine companion. A meet-and-greet is recommended to see if he and another dog are a good match.
Quinn is a special boy who needs a little extra time and support when meeting new people. To help set him up for success, we ask that interested adopters schedule an appointment to meet him.
This gives us a chance to introduce you properly and share what makes Quinn so special.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We'll see you soon at either location!
