Don't let her adorable face fool you-Molasses likes to take her time getting to know new people. She can be wary at first, but once you've earned her trust (or more importantly, she's decided you're her person!), you'll discover a loving, playful, and incredibly fun companion.
This sweet girl has the best zoomies you've ever seen! She's house-trained, treat-motivated, and already knows "sit."
Molasses is looking for a calm, low-traffic home with a patient family who will let her settle in at her own pace and learn that she's safe and loved. We believe she could do well with another similarly tempered small dog, and a meet and greet is required with any resident dog.
If you have a quiet home and a kind heart, Molasses just might be the loyal little friend you've been waiting for.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We'll see you soon at either location!
