Ghost doesn't need a perfect home-he just needs a home that's perfect for him.
With his gorgeous white coat and gentle nature, Ghost is one handsome boy who just needs a little understanding. New things and loud noises can make him nervous, so he's looking for a quiet, calm household where he can settle in at his own pace.
Once he's away from the hustle and bustle, Ghost shows what a lovely walking buddy he can be. He walks beautifully on leash, taking his time to stop and sniff all the interesting scents along the way. He enjoys exploring the world at a relaxed pace and would love having someone who appreciates those quiet moments together.
Ghost would do best in a low-traffic home without lots of people coming and going. Give him patience, consistency, and the time to feel safe, and he'll have the opportunity to let his sweet personality shine.
Ghost isn't looking for perfect. He's looking for someone who will understand him, give him time, and let him be exactly who he is.
Ghost is a special boy who needs a little extra time and support when meeting new people. To help set him up for success, we ask that interested adopters schedule an appointment to meet him.
This gives us a chance to introduce you properly and share what makes Ghost so special.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We'll see you soon at either location!
