If you're looking for a dog with an adventurous personality and a side of snuggles, Jamie is the girl for you! She enjoys spending her outside time with her people, playing with stuffies, going for walks along a creek, and showing off her tricks.
She's a smart lady that knows the commands sit, paw, and lay down. Ready to teach her some more tricks? No problem! She's food motivated and ready to learn!
Jamie is a pro on the track and will run laps around the yard with a toy, then take a break in the shade or find a puddle to cool off in. Jamie can be a very affectionate dog once she's comfortable with you. She will cuddle on the couch, lay on your lap while giving you all the kisses, and try to stay as close to you as possible.
Jamie may take time to warm up, and once she does she will win you over with the goofy and fun side of her! To help set her up for success, we ask that interested adopters schedule an appointment to meet her.
This gives us a chance to introduce you properly and share what makes Jamie so special.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We'll see you soon at either location!
