Ellie is such a sweet, easygoing girl-it's honestly a surprise she's still here! She walks beautifully on leash and makes every outing a breeze. In the play yard, she's affectionate, relaxed, and loves soaking up attention.
Ellie has had kennel mates at the shelter and does well with other dogs, though we always recommend a meet and greet to make sure it's the perfect match. She's the kind of dog who is happy to hang out, enjoy some pets, and just be your calm, loving companion.
If you're looking for a friendly, low-key pup who's ready to fit right into your life, Ellie might be the one. I'm still surprised she hasn't been scooped up yet-she's truly a gem!

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
