Lester was a little timid when he first arrived at the shelter-and who can blame him? It can be a big, scary place. But with time, patience, and lots of love, Lester has truly started to come out of his shell.
This sweet boy has completely won over the volunteers who have spent time with him. With a little extra care and attention, he's blossomed into a loving and gentle companion who just wants to feel safe and loved.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
