This really sweet boy is ready to find a home of his own. Comet is currently working on his leash manners-he may pull a bit at first, but settles into a nice, loose-ish leash for most of the walk.
He absolutely loves attention and being pet, and he's happy to soak up all the affection you're willing to give. Comet also knows how to sit for treats, making him a fun and eager companion to work with.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
