Meet Carlito - your future walking buddy and certified good boy

Carlito is a handsome 6-year-old with a big heart and an even bigger commitment to his health journey! When he arrived, he tipped the scales at 77 lbs, and he's now proudly part of the weight-loss club - complete with a structured diet and daily walks to help him feel his best.

This sweet guy is looking for a home with someone who can help him stay on track. His ideal person (or family) will be happy to:

Keep him on his vet-approved diet

Take him on at least two walks a day

Cheer him on as he slims down and gains energy

Carlito doesn't just need exercise - he needs a teammate. Someone who will celebrate every pound lost, every tail wag, and every happy stroll around the neighborhood.

In return, you'll get a loyal companion who's ready to share life's simple joys: fresh air, a comfy place to rest, and a human to call his own.

Carlito is available for adoption or foster, so if you're ready to help this handsome guy continue his journey, come meet him today. He's ready to walk right into your heart

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.

In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Interested in fostering a dog in need? Join our foster team at www.wilcotx.gov/390/Fostering and click on "Foster Questionnaire."

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.

We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We'll see you soon at either location!
