This sweet guy is looking for a home with someone who can help him stay on track. His ideal person (or family) will be happy to:
Keep him on his vet-approved diet
Take him on at least two walks a day
Cheer him on as he slims down and gains energy
Carlito doesn't just need exercise - he needs a teammate. Someone who will celebrate every pound lost, every tail wag, and every happy stroll around the neighborhood.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
