Magnus has really settled into foster care and continues to show what a wonderful companion he can be. He has become great friends with the kids and neighbors and absolutely loves meeting new people. He's also friendly with other dogs and enjoys their company.
He's curious about the resident cat, but because the cat is quite frightened of him, they are kept separated. With slow introductions and the right home, he may continue to learn appropriate boundaries.
Magnus is fully crate trained and sleeps quietly in his crate every night. He's settled into a consistent routine, has adapted well to his feeding schedule, and spends much of his day enjoying time in the backyard.
He's still polishing his leash manners and is learning not to pull during walks. With continued consistency and positive reinforcement, he's making steady progress.
Overall, he's a loving, friendly boy with a sweet personality who is ready to bring joy to a family willing to continue helping him learn and grow.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
