Meet Barry!
Barry is a handsome, house-trained boy who's ready to find a family of his own! He may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once he feels comfortable, he's incredibly affectionate and loves attention, pets, and being close to his favorite humans.
This friendly, playful guy enjoys following his people around the house or yard and is happiest just being part of whatever you're doing. He sleeps politely on a dog bed in the bedroom, rides well in the car, and enjoys going for walks. Barry even knows sit-especially when treats are involved!
Barry has been friendly with a resident dog in foster care, as always, a meet-and-greet with any resident dogs is recommended.
If you're looking for a loyal companion who will happily shadow you through life and reward your patience with endless love, Barry is ready to meet you!

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We'll see you soon at either location!
