He can be a little reserved when you first meet him, but give him a little time to feel comfortable and you'll see his fun, spunky personality shine-especially in the play yard! Once he warms up, Tex is all about playtime and good vibes.
Tex walks nicely on leash, he's also a big fan of car rides, making him a great buddy to run all your errands with.
When it's time to relax, Tex is happy to enjoy some quiet time, chew on his toys, or engage in a good game of tug.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
