Nancy knows "sit" and may take a little time to warm up to new people. But once you're part of her inner circle, get ready for the sweetest side of this girl. She'll happily sit beside you on a bench, lean in for pets, and make sure you don't forget those all-important back scratches. ?? And when things are calm, she walks beautifully on leash!
Nancy would love to be your one-and-only pup. She's not interested in sharing the spotlight, her stuffies, or her favorite human with another dog.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We'll see you soon at either location!
