Lynetta is a sweet, playful girl who is looking for a patient family willing to let her settle in at her own pace. She can be shy when meeting new people, so she'll do best in a low-traffic home where she can learn that she's safe and loved.
Once she's comfortable, Lynetta's fun personality shines! She loves her stuffies and is happy entertaining herself by tossing them into the air. She also enjoys spending time in the yard, especially if there are birds to chase.
Lynetta has shown interest in other dogs and may do well with a compatible canine companion. A meet and greet is required for any resident dogs.
Lynetta is a special girl who needs a little extra time and support when meeting new people. To help set her up for success, we ask that interested adopters schedule an appointment to meet her.
This gives us a chance to introduce you properly and share what makes Lynetta so special.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We'll see you soon at either location!
