Meet Hercules, a fun-loving yet mellow guy who is ready to be your next adventure buddy! This handsome boy is a quiet explorer who enjoys checking out new places, whether it's a neighborhood walk, a trip to the park, or a hike on the trails.
Hercules already knows several commands, including "sit," "lay down," and "speak." He is friendly, welcoming, and does well with kids, making him a wonderful family companion. He knows how to hop into the car and enjoys going for rides, always ready for the next adventure.
While Hercules loves running and playing at the park, he's just as happy relaxing at home. He appears to be fully house-trained and enjoys lounging on the couch, though he's perfectly content curling up on a dog bed when couch privileges aren't available.
One thing Hercules loves above all else? Treats! This sweet, well-mannered boy has a great balance of playful energy and laid-back charm. If you're looking for a loyal companion who can join you on adventures and then relax by your side at the end of the day, Hercules may be the perfect match.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
