Meet Phoebe - A Little Lovebug Looking for Someone to Believe in Her
Phoebe is a sweet, gentle girl who is looking for something very special: a calm, loving home where she can take her time learning that the world is a safe place.
She may be a little unsure at first, and loud noises or sudden movements can startle her, so Phoebe would do best in a peaceful home without young children. But give her a little patience, kindness, and time to build her confidence, and you'll discover just how loving this girl can be.
Once Phoebe feels comfortable, she'll want to stay close by. She'll greet you at the door, soak up your affection, and happily settle into her new routine. She is crate trained and did well with the dogs in her previous foster home. A meet-and-greet with any resident dogs is recommended.
At just 26 pounds, Phoebe is the perfect size to be your little shadow and your new best friend.
She doesn't need a perfect home. She just needs someone willing to give her the time she needs to blossom.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We'll see you soon at either location!
