Basilisk!?This fun-loving pup is all about fetch-once he trusts you as his official fetch partner, he'll proudly drop the ball at your feet, ready for the next round. Basilisk is also a water lover who enjoys splashing in the pool and even brings his favorite stuffies along for a swim.
On walks, Basilisk is strong on leash, but he does better with his easy-walk harness and settles in nicely on longer strolls. He even has the most adorable whimper when he's excited-it'll melt your heart!
Basilisk is looking for an active family who will enjoy his playful, silly side and give him the love and exercise he craves.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals at any time during open hours.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
