Goober is a handsome 2-year-old pup weighing about 65 lbs, and he's as sweet as they come. This lovable guy thrives on attention and is happiest when he's spending time with his people.
Playtime is one of Goober's favorite things - especially a good game of tug-of-war! He would be a perfect match for an active family that can keep up with his playful spirit and give him plenty of love and engagement.
Goober is housetrained and previously lived with two other dogs. Because every dog friendship is unique, a meet and greet is recommended to make sure it's a great fit. He already knows some commands like sit and stay, and he's eager to keep learning.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
