Smart, handsome, and incredibly well-mannered, Argos is the kind of dog who makes everyone fall in love. He's house-trained, crate-trained, walks beautifully on leash, and already knows an impressive list of commands including sit, stay, down, shake (with both paws!), spot, and even waits patiently for his food and at doorways. Talk about a gentleman!
Argos loves to stay active and would be thrilled to join you for walks, runs, agility, fetch, tug, water play, climbing adventures, or car rides. He's also a great listener, catches treats like a pro, and is always eager to learn.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We'll see you soon at either location!
