Abel is a gentle soul who has experience living with another dog and older kids. He is a calm older gentleman with elderly people, but don't let this fool you! He doesn't really know his age! Even with his energy he still makes the perfect houseguest. He is crate trained, knows 'sit', 'shake', 'down', and 'roll over'.
His hobbies include bird watching, enjoying sometime in the water, and laying by his people's feet to take nice naps.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals at any time during open hours.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
