Miles was originally transferred in from a rescue. He was adopted as a puppy. However, after 2 years, he has grown to be 105 pounds of enthusiastic love. He was returned due to not being safe around young children. According to the previous adopter, he will run them over and jump on them when he wants to play. He apparently does this in an overly friendly way, not at all aggressive. Miles is also great with older children and is housetrained and crate trained. Obviously his family spent some time training him. Miles knows several basic commands: sit, lay down, roll over, shake, speak, and go potty. 105 pounds is a lot of dog (and still thinks he is a puppy) so it is understandable that toddlers or anyone not steady on their feet would not be a good match for him. Come and meet this gentle giant 11 to 4 Tuesday through Saturday. Miles is neutered, microchipped, current on core vaccines and has tested negative for heartworms.
