HSTC is dedicated to securing loving, forever homes for all our adoptable animals. These placement requirements are derived from our extensive experience with the animals in our care. Prior to adoption, all animals are fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.
I'll be happiest in a home that is appropriate for my size and energy level.
I appreciate my humans and would like them to be home with me as much as possible.
I can live happily with dog savvy dogs, cats and children. If you're considering adopting me, please know it will be your responsibility to introduce me slowly and considerately to all household members.
The Pros at HSTC recommend training for all dogs with a qualified trainer so that we remain out of the shelter for the rest of our lives.
A fenced in yard is great but leash training and walks will help me learn how to behave around others.
Upon my adoption, you will receive an email from Petszel with your FREE online pet portal with resource materials for how to introduce me to others, training opportunities, local clinics and Veterinarians to establish with, toy and food resource materials and more. It will be my new family's responsibility to read and access these resources so that I am successful in my new environment and remain out of the shelters for the rest of my life.
