Meet Frito, a sweet, loving and sensitive pittie who is looking for a fresh start. Frito can be shy at first and will bark at new people but with time (and some of her favorite treats) she warms up. She will need multiple meets before she feels comfortable enough to start her next chapter. Once she has warmed up Frito loves to be with her people and get all the attention she deserves. She will even jump up and give hugs!
Frito is very curious about the world and loves to learn. She loves to go for walks and is extremely food motivated. She will happily show off her sit if it means she'll get a treat. She has enjoyed puzzle toys and is eager to please.
Frito is looking for adopters who will spend time getting to know her gentle soul and can continue to build her confidence throughout her life. She would do best with calm older teens who understand shy dogs and would prefer to be the only dog in the house.
If you are interested in adopting this great pup, please come to the shelter with your human family members on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 12-4pm. If those times don't work for you, please email dogs@worcesterarl.org to see if we have other available times for you to meet them.
