Hey, I'm Nintendo - a 4½-year-old dark tabby with a heart that's taken a little time to unfold. I came to ACS with several other cats after our owner passed away. We hadn't had much human interaction for nearly a year, so when I first arrived, everything felt overwhelming and unfamiliar. I was unsure, nervous, and definitely more on the "spicy" side. But during my stay, I found my perfect match - a buddy named Quill who shares my exact play style and energy. We clicked instantly, and now I truly can't imagine being without him.
I'll need a bit more patience, love, and time to decompress in a new home - a little more than my other half - but once I trust you, my true self shines. I'm goofy, affectionate, and packed with personality. I absolutely love head and neck scratches, and the more comfortable I feel, the harder I lean into your hand. New people can still make me nervous, and I might hide at first, but with my trusted humans? I'm right at your feet asking for chin scratches and a moment in the spotlight.
I'm extremely playful with other cats and tend to have a more dominant play style, so a foster-to-adopt trial would be best in multi-cat homes to make sure everyone vibes well. I've also done great with calm dogs - I'll even give a sweet little face nuzzle to let them know we're friends.
Underneath my timid beginnings is a playful, charming boy who just wants someone he can trust and adore. I'm neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines - ready for my next chapter.
