Meet Palmer!
Palmer is a 2.5-year-old Blue Heeler with classic heeler spirit - smart, driven, loyal, and always looking for a job to do. She originally came to ACS as a stray and was later returned when her adopter could no longer care for her, but that just means she's ready for the right person to discover what a gem she truly is.
Palmer is a particular girl who takes her heeler duties very seriously. If she's not assigned a task, she'll happily create one herself! True to her breed, she's high-energy, big-brained, and loves to communicate with those signature ankle nips. Because of this, she's not a candidate for apartment living or homes with small children. She has also had a few negative interactions with other dogs, so she's looking for a canine-free home. And like most heelers, her prey drive is strong - so no cats, pocket pets, or small critters, please.
But here's the best part: once Palmer chooses you, she chooses you fully. She is sweet, devoted, affectionate, and absolutely ready to become the apple of someone's eye. If you've been searching for a loyal adventure buddy who will adore you endlessly and keep life interesting, you just found her.
Palmer is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed - now she's simply waiting for her forever home.
