Our family was pulled from Mpls Animal Control and we went directly into a loving foster home until we were ready for adoption. We're back at the shelter now and looking forward to meeting you!
Notes from my foster mom: Berlioz is a sweet, laid-back guy who prefers to take life at his own pace. He likes being near the action and loves to join in wrestling matches with his sister Marie. He is also quite playful and enjoys chasing the feather toy or string.
Berlioz is a bit of a homebody. Give him a soft bed in a quiet spot, and he's perfectly content to relax and watch the world go by. He may take some time to warm up to new people, but once he feels comfortable, he'll occasionally reward you with some cuddles.
Berlioz is comfortable around both dogs and children. Because he appreciates having his boundaries respected, he may be happiest with older children who understand that sometimes a cat wants affection, and sometimes he just wants to enjoy his cozy bed in peace.
If you're looking for a gentle, easygoing companion who will quietly keep you company without demanding to be the center of attention, Berlioz could be the perfect match.

Cats are feline leukemia/feline immunodeficiency virus tested (if applicable), if there is a litter, one in the litter is tested or the queen is tested. They have had at least their first distemper combo (booster given if been in our care for the appropriate time), been de-wormed, microchipped, and treated with a flea and tick product (if applicable). All the cats are spayed or neutered before they leave for their forever homes.
