Jenni came in with a bad injury/infection around her genitals and needed some recovery time so went into a foster home while she healed. She's pretty scared at the shelter so she's hanging out in foster while she waits to get adopted!
Notes from foster mom: Jenni is a great little girl - full of personality and affection all the while looking at you with those big eyes that pull you in! When she came here, she had to wear the tiniest little cone you've ever seen (see picture) but that never even bothered her. She was just happy to be safe, warm and well fed.
Jenni is a happy little girl who loves playing with you and then snuggling up in your lap for nap time. You'll find her sleeping next to you thru the night and then getting excited when you get up because she knows treat time is coming.
Jenni is going to make a wonderful new family member to someone lucky!
Good with dogs: possibly with a proper introduction
Good with cats: yes but might need a slower introduction. She got along well with everyone but an adult in her foster home wasn't as fond of her so she was respectful but nervous around him.
Good with children: likely but would need a slow introduction
Cats are feline leukemia/feline immunodeficiency virus tested (if applicable), if there is a litter, one in the litter is tested or the queen is tested. They have had at least their first distemper combo (booster given if been in our care for the appropriate time), been de-wormed, microchipped, and treated with a flea and tick product (if applicable). All the cats are spayed or neutered before they leave for their forever homes.
