I was basically abandoned by my owner - a friend was cat sitting me while they were gone and they never came back for me. I was not a happy girl at the shelter so I was able to go into a great foster home where my true sweet self came out. I am staying in foster while I wait to find my new home so if you would like to meet me, please fill out an application online!
Notes from my foster dad: Introducing Chaiya, a younger gal who is a calm, gentle and curious soul that is ready to bond closely and never let go!! The best single word to describe Chaiya is delicate. She is a very calm and delicate when moving around or sleeping and prefers a soft touch when being petted. She's very curious and attentive, no detail escapes her, she'll just decide it she wants to be involved or not. She can be very talkative and usually announces herself when she approaches you and when she wants further attention. Her calm demeanor brings a sense of contentment to everyone. She likes to be held and will often doze off in your arms even without further attention.
Chaiya likes to play and is good with playing with toys on her own most of the time. She loves to pounce on your toes under the bed covers and is quick about it, she never hurts you though. She usually sleeps around your feet or toward the middle of the bed and doesn't mind being jostled a little bit as you move around.
Chaiya's curiosity is very strong and will sometimes lead to bit of mischief, mostly when looking for food. I've caught her "counter surfing" in the kitchen a couple of times, and she's tipped over a garbage can or two. Covers on the cans fixed that problem, but I haven't quite gotten her convinced yet that she shouldn't do that. A little consistent discipline will bring her around I'm sure.
Chaiya will make a wonderful companion to anyone - her tender and gentle soul will have you wrapped around her tail in no time!!!

Cats are feline leukemia/feline immunodeficiency virus tested (if applicable), if there is a litter, one in the litter is tested or the queen is tested. They have had at least their first distemper combo (booster given if been in our care for the appropriate time), been de-wormed, microchipped, and treated with a flea and tick product (if applicable). All the cats are spayed or neutered before they leave for their forever homes.
