Brienne is a beautiful tortie girl who has made incredible progress during her time in foster care. When she first arrived, she was extremely shy and wouldn't come out of her crate. With time, patience, and the freedom to adjust at her own pace, she has truly blossomed. Now she greets me each day with happy meows and is always waiting to say hello.
Once Brienne trusts you, she becomes an incredibly affectionate companion who loves attention and pets. She'll happily roll over for affection while batting at her favorite wand toy at the same time. She especially enjoys canned wet food and loves Churu treats. Food has definitely been one of the ways to win her heart!
Brienne has not been directly introduced to my resident cats, but they have interacted through a baby gate. Even when my cats hiss or growl, she remains calm and seems more curious than bothered. She gives every impression that she would enjoy having feline friends in her future home.
She has not been tested with dogs or young children. However, I believe she could do well with older, calm, and respectful children who understand that she may need time and space to settle in.
Brienne's ideal adopter is someone who understands that shy cats need patience and kindness. While she has become a loving, social companion with me, she will likely need time to feel comfortable in a new environment and with new people. The reward for that patience is a sweet, affectionate cat who will greet you with happy meows and become a loyal, loving friend.

Good with Cats: Unknown, but possibly. We do recommend a slow introduction
Good with Dogs: unknown but possibly if they are very mellow and respectful of her
Good with Kids: see above

Cats are feline leukemia/feline immunodeficiency virus tested (if applicable), if there is a litter, one in the litter is tested or the queen is tested. They have had at least their first distemper combo (booster given if been in our care for the appropriate time), been de-wormed, microchipped, and treated with a flea and tick product (if applicable). All the cats are spayed or neutered before they leave for their forever homes.
