How I Arrived At NHS: We were found as strays by a Northwoods foster and she kept us while she worked on socializing us. We tried being at the shelter, but it was too much for us so we're in a foster home as we wait to get adopted.
Notes from my foster mom: Kit is a silky soft, petite, playful kitten. This pretty girl is shy and reserved at first and will take her time observing everything around her before jumping in. She is thoughtful, gentle, and very aware of her surroundings.
She does love to play once she feels comfortable especially when things are calm and familiar. She loves to chase the laser pointer, toys and wrestle with her siblings.
As I have gotten to know Kit, she is a loving, silky soft kitty who has a soft purr and often will sit on my lap for pets and belly rubs. The way to get to know her is with treats and lickables, as she loves them. Her litter box habits are excellent.
Kit loves to snuggle and take naps with her siblings. Sometimes I will find her snuggled under a fleece blanket. She would love a sibling to hang out with.
With patience, kindness, and a peaceful home, she will do well.
Good with Kids: yes with a slow and proper introduction but not toddlers
Good with Cats: yes
Good with Dogs: no, they've been scared of the dogs that they've met
Cats are feline leukemia/feline immunodeficiency virus tested (if applicable), if there is a litter, one in the litter is tested or the queen is tested. They have had at least their first distemper combo (booster given if been in our care for the appropriate time), been de-wormed, microchipped, and treated with a flea and tick product (if applicable). All the cats are spayed or neutered before they leave for their forever homes.
