I was found as a stray and kept for a few weeks by our finder until I could be brought to NHS to find my forever home. I was quite shy and nervous at the shelter so I went into a foster home while I wait to get adopted.
Notes from my foster mom: Tabby loves attention and is happiest when he's with people. He likes to play with other cats too, but they can't give him the head and cheek bumps that he adores, so he'll choose human over feline company. I think he'd be perfectly content being an only cat as long as there are toys! He likes to jump and play with a toy that hangs on a stretchy cord in the doorway. He'll jump and flip around with that thing until he tires himself out. You'll also catch him pushing around balls, stuffed mice, and many other small toys. He's lightning quick, but when he gets tired, he appreciates enclosed safe spaces such as closets where he can sleep uninterrupted. Finally, he is obsessed with squeezable treats like Churu and prefers wet food over dry. If you're looking for a fun-loving feline friend with a lot of personality, Tabby would be a great choice!
Good With Kids: Possibly. Did meet and played with a 6 year old. We do recommend a slow introduction
Good With Cats: Likely, he seems to prefer another kitten as opposed to an adult but likely just needs more time and a very slow introduction
Good With Dogs: Unknown but possibly with a proper introduction
Cats are feline leukemia/feline immunodeficiency virus tested (if applicable), if there is a litter, one in the litter is tested or the queen is tested. They have had at least their first distemper combo (booster given if been in our care for the appropriate time), been de-wormed, microchipped, and treated with a flea and tick product (if applicable). All the cats are spayed or neutered before they leave for their forever homes.
