Wyatt was found as a stray who had a really bad URI (kitty cold) and was scared being at the shelter so he went into a foster home while he recovered.
Notes from my foster mom: Wyatt is a shy, sweet boy! Though he seems a little timid at first he just wants to know you love him and he's safe. He is still practicing not chasing fingers, but his favorite alternatives for fingers are string and feathers! He is ok around dogs that mostly ignore him, no problem with other cats after proper introductions either! His favorite spots for pets are his neck, ears, down his back, once he is really comfortable he'll even flop down on his side. While he is still practicing being held, he is happy to make the first move by jumping on your lap. Once he gets to know you a little, this guy has the most amazing purr you've ever heard!
Good With Kids: yes
Good With Cats: yes with a proper introduction
Good With Dogs: yes with a proper introduction and if they basically leave him alone
Cats are feline leukemia/feline immunodeficiency virus tested (if applicable), if there is a litter, one in the litter is tested or the queen is tested. They have had at least their first distemper combo (booster given if been in our care for the appropriate time), been de-wormed, microchipped, and treated with a flea and tick product (if applicable). All the cats are spayed or neutered before they leave for their forever homes.
