Hi, I'm Higgintoot - and yes, my name is just as fun as I am! I came to Northwoods from an accidental litter, and now I'm on the lookout for my forever family. I'm still just a puppy, which means I'm a blank slate ready to learn, grow, and be your loyal sidekick. I might be a little shy at first (this whole shelter thing is a lot!), but give me a little time and I'll melt your heart with my gentle, goofy charm. I'll be a big, handsome boy when I grow up. I love hanging out with other dogs - especially the ones who like to play! Let's take this journey together - I promise to bring the wiggles, the sweetness, and a whole lot of love.

All the dogs at Northwoods Humane Society have had a basic exam by NHS veterinary staff. They have been microchipped, tested for Heartworm (if over 6 months of age), had at least their first distemper combo vaccination (2nd if here longer), dewormed with a general dewormer, and had a flea and tick treatment applied if applicable. All the dogs will be spayed or neutered before they are adopted to their new permanent homes. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix.
