How I Arrived At NHS: I was found in someone's car engine. I was pregnant so when I came to Northwoods, I was able to go into a foster home to concentrate on my kittens.
Notes from my foster mom: Miss Butters came to me about mid-way thru her pregnancy. We enjoyed a lot of time together where she would curl up next to me waiting to be combed with a fine-tooth comb - soaking it all in. I refer to this family as my "Easter" family as momma Butters delivered all her Littles the day after Easter. Delivery of her kittens was very smooth, and she has been an amazing, attentive mom.
Miss. Butters is a very gentle, quiet lady who is there with patience for her littles and loves lounging and pets. Miss Butters enjoys watching the activity around her and will sometimes get into the action with her Littles to swat at a wand toy. She likes to relax on a hammock shelf observing her children and if she hears one "scream" she goes right there to make sure all is ok. She is very content to also find a cozy spot on the floor, bed, or tower and just chill. This petite momma often has a lot to tell me when I first walk in the room and her golden eyes look intently at me demanding I listen. Even with this appearance, she is such a sweet, gentle soul and has been since the start.

Cats are feline leukemia/feline immunodeficiency virus tested (if applicable), if there is a litter, one in the litter is tested or the queen is tested. They have had at least their first distemper combo (booster given if been in our care for the appropriate time), been de-wormed, microchipped, and treated with a flea and tick product (if applicable). All the cats are spayed or neutered before they leave for their forever homes.
