How I Arrived At NHS: I was found at a park as a very pregnant stray so I went directly into a foster home where I could concentrate on my kittens. I was adopted but the resident cats in the home didn't like me and picked on me so I was brought back.
Notes from my foster mom: I really enjoyed Polly while she was here. She was a wonderful mother to her kittens but also seemed to really enjoy hanging out with me when she wasn't taking care of them. She's very sweet and calm. She's ok being picked up but would rather just hop on your lap when you sit down. Tummy rubs and chin scratches are her favorite pastime with me. She eats both dry and canned food and uses the litter box. I'd recommend one with higher sides or a cover as she gets a little enthusiastic covering things up. She didn't react strongly to my dog but didn't really interact with it either. Probably be ok with a slow Introduction to either cats or dogs. She did just fine with visitors- both children and adults. Three of her feet are polydactyl, which makes her very unusual. Polly would be a great addition to just about any family or single person looking for a sweet companion.

Good With Dogs: unknown but possibly with a proper introduction
Cats are feline leukemia/feline immunodeficiency virus tested (if applicable), if there is a litter, one in the litter is tested or the queen is tested. They have had at least their first distemper combo (booster given if been in our care for the appropriate time), been de-wormed, microchipped, and treated with a flea and tick product (if applicable). All the cats are spayed or neutered before they leave for their forever homes.
