How I Arrived At NHS: I lived in a very loving home, but because of allergies there I could no longer stay. I was brought to NHS to find a forever home. I was adopted out and returned because my owners were moving.
I'm a very friendly and affectionate boy who loves playing with toys. (Crinkle balls and wand toys are my favorite.) I am a curious guy who likes to explore my surroundings. I also love getting brushed and getting lots of pets and attention. I enjoy being picked up and will cling to you. I like a variety of scratching posts, some with wood and carpet would be great!
Notes from NHS volunteer: Leo loved, loved, loved getting brushed. He wanted it consistently throughout the whole time we were with him. He also liked the catnip treats.
Good With Kids: Possibly. Did well with kids in home (ages 9-20). We do recommend a slow introduction.
Good With Cats: No. He doesn't seem to appreciate them here at the shelter.
Good With Dogs: Possibly. He is ok with calm, respectful dogs. We do recommend a slow introduction.
Cats are feline leukemia/feline immunodeficiency virus tested (if applicable), if there is a litter, one in the litter is tested or the queen is tested. They have had at least their first distemper combo (booster given if been in our care for the appropriate time), been de-wormed, microchipped, and treated with a flea and tick product (if applicable). All the cats are spayed or neutered before they leave for their forever homes
