Meet Penelope - Playgroup Queen With Ears That Could Star in a Cartoon
If you're looking for a fun, social, medium-sized pup with personality to spare, Penelope might just be your perfect match. This 2-year-old mixed breed beauty made her way here from a shelter in Florida, and she's been lighting up playgroups ever since.
Penelope is a playful, dog-loving sweetheart who thrives in the company of other pups. Whether she's rolling around in the sand, chasing her friends, or showing off those extra-tall, radar-worthy ears, Penelope is always in the middle of the fun.
She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but it's just because she has very tall ears and can hear things we can't! Once you shower her with treats, you will have earned her trust, and she will happily lean in for affection and belly rubs. Penelope is a gentle, kind soul who would love a home that gives her time to settle in and plenty of opportunities to play with canine companions.

- Loves playing with other dogs and would thrive with a doggy sibling
- Sweet, soft, and a little shy with new people - but warms up beautifully
- Spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated
